Our Mission

Mother Gaia Animal Rescue is a non-profit, licensed, foster and volunteer-based rescue for pets in need of new homes. Our mission is to rescue animals in shelters and place into foster homes where they can receive medical care, training, and love until they’re ready to go into their forever home – many of which come from areas with overpopulation and high euthanasia rates.

Due to the volume of incoming animals, Mother Gaia Animal Rescue doesn’t typically accept owner surrenders.

The season of giving is here!

Together, we have the power to save these helpless animals this Colorado Gives Day!

Nova is a tiny but mighty Siamese kitten who came to us after a traumatic injury. She suffered paralyzed back legs and endured multiple health challenges, but with love, medical care, and daily therapy, she’s now thriving. Nova is playful, affectionate, and full of spirit- a true testament to resilience and the power of compassion.

Nova is just one of many special animals who need care and love to overcome heartbreaking circumstances. Others, like Scrooge, found walking down a road missing a leg, covered in massive mats and Cheyenne, found terrified in an abandoned building needing her eye removed. All of these animals have relied on supporters like you to find hope, healing, and loving forever homes.

Medical costs are rising, shelters are full, and our cases don’t stop. Our reserves are gone, and we are relying on your generosity to continue giving special-needs animals the care they deserve. Can you help Nova and her friends receive the second chance at life and love they so desperately need?
